The first collection: casual style is born

After taking over a small company of Turin, Luigi Cappio produces immediately a men’s mini collection. They are less than ten products, but still today they identify the history of his company as a symbol of casual style, which couldn’t exist without items such as the Flying Jackets, the Starting Jackets or the Eskimos in water- repellent poplin, the Montgomery and the Pea-coat Caban in blue cloth.

Borrowed from the military tradition of the States, these outwears, which can be worn independently from time and fashion, are grouped by Luigi Cappio under the trademark Ivy Oxford: a trademark having a strong evocative weight, recalling the carefree reality of American campuses and to which, from this time on, he dedicated his energies and his creativity.

The first IVY OXFORD line records in France a success overcoming all forecasts and keeps in steady growth for more than ten years.
